摘　　要：专业班主任在大学生的课程学习指导、专业兴趣培养和职业规划引领中处于非常重要的地位,是连接学生与学习、学生成才和学科发展、高教质量与社会需求的桥梁和纽带。文中结合作者十余年兼任专业班主任的工作经历,从课业目标、职业规划、社会实践、创新能力培养等多个方面探讨高等工科院校专业班主任的职责与担当。The professional head teachers play a very importantrole in the course instruction, professional interest cultivation andcareer planning for the college students. They are the bridges andlinks of students and their learning, students＇ development anddiscipline development, the quality of higher education and socialneeds. Based on the authors＇ working experience of serving as aprofessional class teacher for more than ten years, this paper investigateson the duties and responsibilities of the professionalteachers in charge of classes in engineering colleges and universitiesfrom the aspects of curriculum learning, career planning,social practice and cultivation of innovative ability.
