功能对等理论指导下的英文电影片名汉译

摘　　要：电影作为一种艺术表达形式深受大众喜爱。电影片名作为电影内容的高度总结,对电影起着画龙点睛的作用。电影片名的翻译就像电影的招牌和广告,不仅能揭示电影的情节,还能激发观众的想象和观看欲望。但如何成功地翻译电影片名却变成一道难题,本文试从介绍功能对等理论和电影片名的功能入手浅析英文电影片名的汉译方法。Movie is one of the art forms people prefer. As the summary of movie content, a movie title brings out the crucial point. A good movie title, like a movie＇s signboard and advertisement, not only re veals the movie plot, but also stimulates the audience＇s imagination and attracts them to see it in the cine ma. But to successfully translate English movie title into Chinese is very difficult. By introducing the func tional equivalence and the function of a movie title, this essay analyzes the translation method of an English movie title.
