从词汇的语义和语用视角试析译文《中国人》中词汇翻译之失

摘　　要：My Country and My People是林语堂的代表作,也是介绍中国文化的经典名作之一。《中国人》作为其最新也是流传最广的译本,有超越前译本之处。但译文在翻译策略、句式结构、词汇理解上均有不同程度的失当或可商榷之处。鉴于此,立足于最基本的词汇层面,从语言意义和语用意义的视角研究和分析译文词汇翻译的失误,希望有助于中国文化异语创作的回译研究和词汇的翻译研究。Lin Yutang＇s My Country and My People,is w idely renow ned as one of the best; iterary w orks in promoting Chinese culture. Its latest and also the most influential Chinese version,Chinese,surpasses is better than previous translation, how ever, errors are found in terms of translation strategies,syntactic structure and understanding lexical items. This paper based on its w ording,the lexical translation from the perspective of semantics and pragmatics in order to promote both the research on back translation and application of pragmatic theories in translation practice.
