摘　　要：高职院校作为培育优质人才重要教育场所,立足新课改背景,积极创研教育模式,在实践中累积育人经验,应用EGP+ESP教学模式,这种集通用英语与专门用途英语为一体的教育模式,能有效提高高职院校英语教育质量,满足应用型人才个性化培育需求,使高职英语教学模式更具科学性,能在英语基本技能教育基础上,从学生所学专业着眼,丰富英语教学内容,使其英语能力更具行业导向性,达到提高高职英语育人成效的目的。文章通过对高职英语EGP+ESP教学模式可行性进行研究,以期为提高高职英语教学质量提供依据。As an important education place for cultivating high quality talents, the higher vocational colleges actively create theeducational model, accumulate the experience of educating people in practice, and apply the EGP＋ESP teaching mode based on thebackground of the new curriculum reform. This teaching mode which combines general English with specialized English can improvethe quality of English teaching in higher vocational colleges, meet the needs of individualized cultivation of application-oriented talents, and make higher vocational English teaching mode more scientific. On the basis of the basic education of English and accordingto student＇s majors, this educational model can enrich the content of English teaching, make their English ability more industry-oriented, and improve the teaching effect of the higher vocational English. This paper studies the feasibility of EGP＋ESP teaching modein vocational colleges in order to improve the quality of English teaching in higher vocational colleges.
