摘　　要：在"十七年"时期关于西部民族地区题材的美术创作中,"路"成为一个重要的母题。美术家围绕着路进行巧思妙作并精心设计作品的标题,以表现中华人民共和国成立后西部民族地区的崭新气象。将众多在这一特定历史条件下生产出来的关于路的图像排列在一起,可以展现西部民族地区的发展历史。美术家以此进行国家现代化的叙事。In the ＂seventeen years＂ period, the road became an important motif in the artistic creation of western ethnic mi- nority areas. Artists revolved around the road for ingenious works and carefully designed the titles of the works to express the new atmosphere of the western ethnic areas after the founding of the People＇s Republic of China. To put many images of roads together which were produced under this particular historical condition, show the development history of the western ethnic areas. Artists use this as a narrative of national modernization.
