自我的形成过程对期望价值理论的影响及其在外语学习行为选择中的应用

摘　　要：在现代动机研究中,期望价值理论一直是解释行为选择的重要理论之一。在期望价值理论的框架中,效能期望和对任务的主观价值判断是影响个体行为选择的重要因素。重点讨论自我这一因子在期望价值理论中的重要作用。通过对自我较能和自我身份在外语学习中的应用,分析影响学生外语学习动机的因素,提出动态循环的动机研究方法,为外语动机研究提供新的研究途径。In modern motivation researches, Expectancy-Value theory has been one of the most important theories in explaining behavior choices. In Expectancy-Value model, expectation of success and subjective task value are two major factors in influencing individuals＇ behavior choices. This article introduced the factor of self- construction and its role in Expectancy-Value model. Through application of self-concept and identity in foreign language learning, this article discussed the factors and influencing schema in students＇ foreign language learning motivation. By proposing the dynamic and reciprocal self-construction process, this article introduced a new research perspective in studying foreign language learning motivation.
