中医术语英译标准化形势下一词多译的合理性探析

摘　　要：术语英译标准化要求"一词一义一译",但是由于中医术语的特殊性和复杂性,在中医术语英译过程中应考虑到术语表意丰富、含义模糊、搭配灵活等情况,允许一词多译现象的存在,或者根据上下文实际语境对标准化翻译加以调整。中医术语英译标准化应以准确达意为基础,在行文中翻译上述类型的术语时,应结合上下文语境,充分考虑到中医术语的特点,避免机械套用标准英译而造成表意偏差甚至误译、错译。In light of the standardized terminology and translation, there should be only one definition and one translation version for one single term. Nevertheless, cases with multiple meanings, ambiguity, or flexible collocation can be found in traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） terms due to their uniqueness and complexity. It is proposed that standardization should be based on the accurate delivery of the meaning. Therefore, for these types of TCM terms, even in the context of standardization, they should be allowed to be translated differently, or adjusted according to the context.
