摘　　要："三纲五常"是中国传统社会的核心价值观念,对中国社会的发展有深远的影响。"三纲五常"思想孕育于先秦,形成于两汉,经过董仲舒初步论述以及《白虎通义》的系统论证而最终确立。"三纲五常"思想中既有精华,也有糟粕,因此,我们要以科学辩证的态度进行创造性转化与创新性发展,更好地发挥其当代价值。The Three Cardinal Principles and Five Constant Virtues are the core values of traditional Chinese society, profoundly influeneing the Chinese social development. Conceived in Pre-Qin times, and formulated in the West and East Han Dynasties, they were established through Dong Zhongshu＇s initial elaboration and systematical expounding in the book of Baihutongyi. The thought has in it both positive and negative elements. Therefore, we should creatively transform and develop it with a scientifically dialectical attitude to cultivate its contemporary value.
