摘  要:回顾元认知和元认知策略的理论研究及实践应用,可以发现,学习者的元认知能力和元认知策略运用影响到其外语学习的各个方面。目前,虽然学界针对元认知能力和元认知策略与外语学习者跨文化交际能力发展的研究不多,但根据跨文化敏感度发展模型可以假设适当的元认知策略指导,这对学习者的跨文化交际能力发展能够起到正面的积极作用。A learner of a foreign language is found to be influenced by his or her metacognitive abilities and use of metacognitive strategies in every aspect of language learning through a review on both theoretical and practical studies. Although very few researches concern the relationship between the two and foreign language learners' intercultural communicative competence, an assumption can be made that proper instructions on metacognitive strategies may play a positive role in the development of such a competence in accordance with the Developmental Model of Intercultural Sensitivity.
