摘　　要：本文通过大量的例证对英语转化词的来源、类型及特征进行了探讨。在英语朝着简化发展的趋势中 ,转化词是贯彻英语语言“经济原则”的具体体现 ,同时对现代英语教学及翻译具有一定的现实意义。This paper discusses the sources,types and features of the English conversion through plenty of examples.In the trend that English develops toward simplification,conversion is just an embodiment of the economical principle of the Egnlish language,and at the same time it is of some significance in modern English teaching and translation.
