摘　　要：随着西部大开发战略的实施,新疆经济发展面临着前所未有的历史机遇。新疆经济的发展,关键在于安定团结政治局面的保持与发展。学好新疆地方史,掌握新疆发展的历史及民族和宗教演变的历史,对于大力加强爱国主义、集体主义和社会主义教育,加强马克思主义的国家观、民族观、宗教观、文化观、历史观教育至关重要,也是提高思想政治素质的重要途径。With the implementation of the strategy 'Developing the West', Xinjiang's economy is faced up with unprecedented opportunities, and its development depends greatly on maintaining the stable political situation. Thus, to study the History of Xinjiang for better understanding the history of its people and religions is the key to enhance the education of patriotism, collectivism and socialism, the key to emphasis on Marxism's five principles, and the key to improve political quality.
