浅析“炎”声词族系统

摘　　要：谐声字的声符不仅能够标音,而且具有示义的功能。运用清代段玉裁、王念孙等人提出的"音近义通"的理论,通过考释"炎"声符字,得出"炎"声符字主要沿着"尖锐"义、"光闪"义、"炙热"义三个源义素引申,从而归纳"炎"声符同源词的词义系统,进而构建"炎"声词族系统,为词源学做一些具体的研究,推动其朝理论化、系统化的方向发展。Pictophmetic characters can not only mark the pronunciation,but also have the function of showing a word's meaning. We use the annotation of "close pronunciation can express the same meaning" brought forth by Duan Yucai, Wang Niansun and others in the Qing Dynasty for explaining the word ‘‘炎It is concluded that the word ‘‘炎’’ is extended mainly along the three original semanteme "sharp" , "flash" ,and "hot" so as to summarize the meaning system of ‘‘炎” , and further construct the ‘‘炎’’ phonetic word family system,thus promoting the theoretical and systematic development of the etymology.
