摘　　要：Nowadays numerous foreign films began to flow into China. With attractive foreign culture and relaxing daily life scene, the sitcom has entertained a large group of Chinese people. How to translate them successfully to make numerous Chineseaudiences understand them has long been a debatable topic in the translation circle. This paper will focus on sitcoms’ wordplay translation under Nada’s functional equivalence theory and take classic scenes in Friends as examples.Nowadays numerous foreign films began to flow into China.
