基于语料库的大学简介英译文词汇特征及翻译研究

摘　　要：本文基于自建的汉英大学简介文本平行语料库和英文大学简介可比语料库,结合语用等效翻译策略对中外著名大学简介文本英译文中高频实词的词汇特征及具有中国特色的文化负载词汇的汉英翻译问题进行了探讨。本文试图从外宣翻译视角上评估我国大学简介英译文翻译质量,为减少或规避各类翻译失误提供一种新的思路。The present thesis,based on the Chinese English(C-E)parallel corpus of Chinese University introductions and English comparable corpus of overseas University introductions,makes an exploration of the lexical features of C-E translations of University Introduction texts and C-E University introductions translation.From the perspective of Pragmatic Equivalence and on the basis of corpus statistical results,the paper illustrates the differences between the two corpora in terms of lexical difficulties,high frequency nouns,the first and second pronouns and the common genre features of University introductions.In the end,the paper provides analysic of possible reasons for the differences as well as possible methods for the improvement of Chinese University introduction translation from the perspective of externaloriented translation.
