英汉跨文化交际中英语语言使用的得体性和语用失误

摘　　要：英汉跨文化交际中,母语为汉语的英语使用者往往会出现表达不得体的现象。文章基于得体准则和语用失误理论对这种现象进行了探讨,即从语用语言失误及社交语用失误角度运用具体话语实例分析了导致这种现象的原因,并提出了增强语用意识和提高语用能力的对策建议,以期能帮助英汉跨文化交际者能更得体有效地进行交流。It is a common phenomenon that some Chinese non-native English users speak English in an inappropriate way in cross-cultural communication in English and Chinese due to their lack of knowledge of pragmatic functions of the language.It is analyzed in this paper why Chinese non-native English speakers sometimes cannot express themselves effectively from the perspective of pragmatic failure,combined with tact maxim.Then some illustrations are employed to find out the causes of this phenomenon in view of pragmalinguistic failure and sociopragmatic failure.Finally,it is proposed,for the effective use of the language,to develop pragmatic awareness and competence should be of great significance.
