摘 要:以福州三坊七巷历史文化街区的旅游指南为例,探讨文化语境对旅游语篇汉英翻译的影响,以及旅游语篇汉英翻译的策略。得出如下结论:由于汉语和英语文化语境的差异,旅游语篇在汉译英时必须考虑译文所传递的信息是否能被英语读者所理解和接受;译者应该根据具体的文化语境选择最适当的方法进行翻译,以实现译文在目的语文化中的交际功能。This paper conducts case studies of the Travel Guide of the Three Lanes and Seven Alleys in Fuzhou to explore the influence of cultural context on Chinese-English translation of tourist texts as well as translation strategies.Because of the differences between Chinese and English cultural contexts,the translator must take into consideration whether the information transmitted by the translation can be understood and accepted by English readers while doing C-E translation of tourist texts.Therefore,the translator should choose a proper translation strategy according to the specific cultural context to fulfill the communicative function of the translation in the target language.
