摘 要:词义推理是一个动态的、在线的词汇意义构建过程,它是语言学习的一种重要策略,在二语学习中,词义推理对于学习者语境意识的形成和词汇发展至关重要。衔接手段是语篇的基本要素和主要特征,它对二语教学的重要性已经得到了广泛认同,但鲜有研究将衔接手段运用于二语听力中词义推理的分析。通过前后测、调查问卷等手段分析了衔接手段对二语听力中词义推理的影响,结果表明,应用衔接手段可以显著提高学习者二语听力中词义推理水平,在所有衔接手段中,连接这一语法衔接和重述这一词汇衔接是提高二语听力中词义推理的最有效的方法,而重音和语调这两个语音衔接手段的效果相对偏弱。Word guessing is a dynamic and online construction of lexical meaning as well as an important strategy of language learning.In L2 learning,word guessing is very important for learners'context awareness and vocabulary development.Cohesion is the basic element and main feature of discourse and its importance to second language teaching has been widely accepted.However,few studies have applied cohesive devices to the analysis of word guessing in second language listening.This study analyzes the effect of cohesive devices on word guessing in second language listening by means of pre-tests and post-test as well as questionnaire and so on.The results show that the use of cohesion can significantly improve the success of word guessing in second language listening,and in all cohesive devices,the grammatical cohesion of conjunction and the lexical cohesion of reiteration are the most effective way to improve word guessing while the effect of the two phonetic cohesion of stress and intonation is comparatively weak.
