摘　　要：大学英语作为大多数非英语专业学生的一门公共基础课,对于人才培养具有重要作用。然而,目前我国新建地方本科院校的大学英语教学现状却亟待改善。从多元智能理论视角出发,阐述英文影视与大学英语教学的紧密关系,探讨如何在大学英语教学中运用英文影视发挥学生的各种优势智能,从而激发学生对大学英语学习的兴趣,提高教学有效性。College English,as a general course for most non-English major students,is instrumental in cultivating talents.However,at present the status quo of college English teaching needs improving in newly-established regional undergraduate colleges.Based on multiple intelligence theory,the close relationship between English films and college English teaching,and how to use English films in the teaching to bring students'superior intelligence into full play so as to develop their interests in English learning and to teach effectively.
