摘 要:本文采用半结构式访谈,调查了中部某省50所镇级、村级小学的105名英语教师对《义务教育英语课程标准(2011年版)》(以下简称《课标》)的认识,发现:(1)仅约31%的教师熟悉《课标》的基本内容,约13%的教师完全不知道;(2)约89%的教师认同英语课程具有工具性和人文性双重性质的基本理念,对双重性的理解与《课标》基本吻合;(3)约52%的教师认为二级目标对农村小学生来说过高;(4)仅约32%的教师熟悉《课标》对词汇量的要求。Applying semi-structured interviews, this study investigated 105 primary English teachers’ perception of The English Course Standards for Compulsory Education ( Course Standards). These teachers were from 50 town- and village-based primary schools in the rural areas of a province in central China. The study has four major findings:(1) only 31% of the teachers are familiar with the Course Standards, while 13% of the teachers are not familiar with or even have not heard of the document;(2) 89% of the teachers agree that the course should be taught/learned as a communicative tool as well as a medium to nurture students’ humanistic values and virtues. Their perception of the dual-nature of the course is similar to the description of the Course Standards;(3) 52% of the teachers believe that the requirements of the Course Standard are high and hard for the students to reach;( 4) only 32% of the teachers are familiar with the vocabulary requirement defined by the Course Standards.
