摘  要:内容标准和能力标准总体用途不同:内容标准设定某一特定学习阶段的学习目标,用于指导教学,同时也是检验教学的依据;能力标准主要服务于考试,具体描述参加某特定考试的考生所需的能力水平。基于标准的学业质量测评是检测标准所要求达到能力的测评活动,测评项目设计需考虑测评目标、考生类别、测评内容、测评方式、效度验证5个因素。通过具体实例分析如何连接量表与课程标准。Content standards and performance standards are used for different purposes. Content standards specify learning objectives for any of a particular school time and provide basis for assessments of learning outcomes.Performance standards are basically for tests. They describe the knowledge and skills needed for test takers to pass a test. Standards-based achievement assessments refer to a series assessment activities designed to assess whether students achieved what the curriculum standards required. Designers need to take a number of issues into consideration when constructing the assessment system. The present author believes that linking China’s Standards of English to content standards can greatly benefit both the designers of the assessment tasks and the users of assessment results. An analysis of middle school students’ writing output illustrates how such linking can be done.
