论英语专业学生文化自觉的培养——以《外婆的日常用品》之教学为例

摘　　要：文化自觉与增强文化信仰和自信、提高文化创新能力息息相关。以英语专业必修课"高级英语"课文《外婆的日常用品》的教学为例,解析文化自觉的内涵,分析培养我国英语专业学生文化自觉的必要性与意义,提出教师在教学中应以中华优秀文化为根本,引导学生树立正确的文化价值观,并带领学生增进文化交流,保持文化创新。One's cultrual consciousness is closely associated with the improvement of cultrual belief,cultural confidence and the enhancement of cultural creativity.Illustrated by teaching the text Everyday Use for Your Grandma in“Advanced English”,a compulsory course for English major students,the paper introduces the connotation of cultural consciousness and analyzes the necessity and significance of cultivating cultural consciousness of English major students in China.Besides,the paper proposes that it is better for teachers to instruct students to learn and understand more Chinese excellent culture,so as to guide students to establish the correct cultural values,launching the cultural exchanges and maintaining the cultural innovation.
