从单词重音入手提升高职学生英语拼读能力探究

摘　　要：读准单词是拼写单词的基础,找准单词重音又是读准单词的一个突破口。单词重音有规律可循,把握规律可以使量大零散的词汇记忆变得轻松。结合高职学生英语现状,阐释元音字母发音规律和单词重音规律,引导学习者养成验证规律、运用规律的习惯,进而实现英语学习者拼读能力和学习自信心的提升。Correct pronunciation is the basis of spelling a word, and to locate the stress is one breakthrough toward pronouncing the word correctly. There are rules for word stress, mastering which makes it easier to memorize the numerous individual words. In view of the current English learning situation of higher vocational students, the rules of English vowel pronunciation and the rules of word stress are illustrated in hopes of guiding the English learners into a habit of testing and applying the rules,and of improving their pronunciation and spelling and their self-confidence in learning English as well.
