摘 要:各国学术英语课程设置在不同阶段各有其特色及重点。中国各高校的学术英语课程开设现状如何?目前的发展存在什么问题?通过请全国各地高校外语教师做网络问卷调查,我们着重考察了各高校学术英语学分和课程的设置情况及教师对此课程的认识。结果显示,在开设了学术英语课程的高校中,学术英语作为必修课程的高校不多(49.4%),学术英语学分在整个大学英语学分中也比较低,65%以上的高校为2~4学分。此外,教师对学术英语教学发展困惑尚多。总体来看,学术英语的发展存在区域、院校办学定位等方面的差异,发展不平衡,认识不到位。针对学术英语教学发展中的困难,我们提出需要提高认识,促进自上而下的改革,加强教师培训等建议。A questionnaire was issued on the net to gather information about the curriculum design and implementation of EAP courses in Chinese colleges and universities. The survey shows that even among the universities that provide EAP courses, only 49. 4% of them offer compulsory EAP courses. The credits of EAP are also rather low among college English courses, with the range of 2~4 credits being the utmost in two thirds of the universities. Moreover, college English teachers have much bewilderment about the development of EAP teaching. Overall, the development of EAP is influenced by factors such as the locations and orientations of universities. Its development is unbalanced and universities don't have adequate understanding of its significance. We put forward suggestions such as enhancing our understanding of EAP, promoting top-down innovation and strengthening the training of college English teachers.
