摘 要:由美国著名的在线教育质量保证机构Quality Matters (QM)和高等教育研究咨询公司Eduventures Research联合发布的美国在线教育发展全景报告,从美国高等教育管理视角全景式地调查了不同层次高等教育机构在线教育的策略、影响和发展趋势。报告数据源于各样本高校的首席在线教育领导,其视角可为人们了解美国在线教育的发展与趋势提供直观的认识。报告的主体内容是美国高校决策者关心的问题:在线教育的注册趋势和在线教学论、在线教育的管理策略、在线教育的质量保证。本文对美国在线教育的实践、影响与趋势的分析,将对我国高校在线教育管理和政策制定有重要的参考和借鉴意义。The Changing Landscape of Online Education(CHLOE), jointly launched by the well-known online education quality assurance organization Quality Matters(QM) and the educational exploration think tank Eduventure, has been released for the third time annually in the U.S. This report examines the strategies, impacts, and trends of online education at different levels of higher education institutions from an administrative perspective in the U.S. higher education. The report data is collected from the Chief Online Officer(COO) of each sample university, who are making the strategic decisions of online education for universities. Their perspective provides a more intuitive understanding of the development and trends of online education in the universities in the U.S. The main report is focusing on some core topics which concerned by the decision makers in American universities: the registration trend of online education, the management strategy of online education, and the quality assurance of online education. With the rapid development of online education in China, this paper provides important reference for online education administrators by analyzing the practice, effectiveness and trend of online education in the U.S.
