摘 要:基于某重点大学本科生抽样调查数据和行政管理数据,本文通过建立计量回归模型,从提高人才选拔效果与拓展多元化录取渠道两个角度,对自主招生政策进行分析。研究发现,自招生的高考成绩显著低于统招生,且那些获得自主招生加分越多的学生,其高考成绩显著越低。但是自招生大一年级的学业成绩则显著优于统招生,且综合评价自招生的必修课、选修课和全部课程成绩均显著优于统招生,学科特长自招生的必修课成绩显著优于统招生,获得自主招生加分越多的学生学业成绩越优异。非降分录取自招生与降分录取自招生的成绩并无显著差异,且二者均比统招生的成绩更好。本文的研究结果说明自主招生在人才选拔方面具有积极的作用。Based on the survey and administrative data of the freshman class in elite universities, this paper estimates the effect of the Independent Admission Policy on talent selection and diverse admission by establishing multiple econometric regression models. The main findings are as the following: Firstly, students admitted through the Independent Admission Policy have significantly lower College Entrance Examination (CEE) scores than those admitted only through CEE, and students who obtain more “bonus points” have significantly lower CEE scores. Secondly, the academic performance in the first year of students admitted through the Independent Admission Policy is significantly better than those admitted only through CEE, and students who obtain more “bonus points” have significantly better academic performance. Lastly, there is no significant difference in academic performance between students whose CEE scores are above or below the cutoff when they are admitted. These findings provide some evidence of the effectiveness of the Independent Admission Policy.
