浅谈“象译”“形译”及在日汉翻译中的应用

摘　　要：关于象译、形译的定义不尽相同,有人认为是一种译法的不同说法,但形译词又包含着借形词和医疗科技领域照抄器械、术语名称的译法,所以笔者认为,并不能单纯地认为是一种译法。本文在已有象译、形译的研究基础上重新对象译、形译进行了定义和分类梳理,并在日汉翻译的层面对日语摹形词、形译词的翻译进行归纳总结,并提出了在翻译时采用借形、根据实物形状翻译、借助其他事物形象翻译、溯源等翻译方法再现源语摹形。The definitions of image translation and pictographic translation are varied.Some people think they are just different notations of the same thing.But pictographic translation contains form-borrowed words and a translation method in medical treatment translation and science-technology translation fields,which photocopying instrument,term name.Therefore,the author believes that it cannot simply considered to be a same thing.Based on the research,this paper redefines and classifies image translation and pictographic translation,and at the level of Japanese-Chinese translation,summarizes the translation of Japanese figurative words and descriptive words.Furthermore,the author puts forward some translation methods such as borrowing form,translating according to the shape of the object,translating with the help of image of other things and tracing the source language to reproduce the description.
