摘　　要：高中新课程改革在课程结构、课程设计、课程实施、课程评价等方面都有很大的变化。最显著的特点是,学生可以根据自己的条件选修当地或校本课程等选修课。我省所有学校也积极探索高中选修课的设置。本文分析了开设英语选修课的目的,介绍了高中英语课程选修课发展的基本原则,以及旅游英语作为校本课程开发的方法和实践。the new curriculum reform in senior high school has great changes in curriculum structure,curriculum design,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation.The most notable feature is that students can choose local or school-based courses according to their own conditions.All schools in our province also actively explore the setting of high school elective courses.This paper analyzes the purpose of setting up English elective course introducing the basic principles of the dvelopment of English elctive course in senior high school and the method and practice of tourism English as a school-based curriculum development.
