摘　　要：讨论了W -曲面Gauss映射的性质 ,给出了W -曲面一个新的特征 ,作为结果的应用 。The property of the Gauss map of weingarten surfaces is discussed and a new earmark is given.As an applicaton,we give shorter proofs of Cartan theorem.
