“远庖厨”的“远”不是“使……远”──兼谈“远”的动词用法

摘　　要：《孟子·梁惠王上》“君子远庖厨”中“远”的用法,目前最常见的一种观点,认为是形容词的使动用法。这种观点值得商榷,“远”应是形容词用如一般动词,不是“使……远”的意思,而是该句的主语“君子”本身主动地“远离”的意思。在《孟子》中“远”有三种动词用法。At present, the common viewpoint about the word away for the Chinese word 搚uan?in the sentence A man of honor would be far away from the kitchen in Meng Zi·Liang Hui Wang Shang is that the adjective away is used as a verb. This point is open to question. It is not used causative, but as an ordinary verb. The subject a man of honor himself keep far away from the kitchen initiatively. In the works, 揳way?has three verbal usages.
