目的论在新闻标题英译教学实践中的应用——以《中国日报》双语新闻标题为例

摘　　要：基于德国功能学派核心理论目的论,通过对比分析中英新闻标题,阐明新闻标题英译实践应采用改译、删译和以有效传播为目的的策略进行变通再创造,以实现英译标题的信息功能和感召功能,最大限度地实现译文在目的语语境中的交际目的与传播效果。新闻标题英译教学应培养学生“目的受众”意识,使在实践中能够以目的语文化为导向,敢于创造性“叛逆”原文。The paper attempts to base the Skopos theory on translating headline and the teaching of headline translation.By contrasting the English and Chinese version of headlines on China Daily,the paper suggests such translation strategies as adaptation and omission to highlight the informative and the appellation function of the headline for the purpose of getting the vital message across to target-language readers,so as to facilitate effective communication.Given this,teaching headline translation should focus on raising students’awareness of target audience and improving their translation competence of“creative treason”.
