摘　　要：在新时代背景下,面对普遍英语基础弱、缺乏兴趣和自信的艺术生,大学英语教学应以激发学生内在动机,培养学生兴趣为目标,课堂上不断探索、反思和总结教学活动的设计,最终以提高学生自主学习的能力为根本目的,使基础的教学方法常态化,扎实抓好艺术生的英语基本功,从而使学生产生英语学习的兴趣。In the new era, in the face of art students with weak basic English, lack of interest and self-confidence, college English teaching should aim at stimulating students’ intrinsic motivation and cultivating students’ interest. The classroom constantly explores, reflects and summarizes teaching activities, and designs, ultimately to improve students’ ability to learn independently, the basic teaching methods are normalized, and the basic English skills of art students are firmly grasped, so that students can have an interest in English learning.
