摘　　要：金岳霖在其哲学代表作《知识论》中,设专题讨论了语言和翻译问题,从哲学家的视角开创性提出了译意和译味的概念,为后人提供了一种全新的翻译思维范式。通过分析译意和译味的哲学基础,系统梳理了金岳霖翻译思想,并对其思想中有关文学作品可译性限度的问题进行了深入探讨。This paper discusses the concept of universality in translation studies,the notion of translating meaning and flavor,and the degree of translatability with reference to Yin Yuelin’s masterpiece On Knowledge.This paper concludes that Jin provides a mode of translation by making good use of his philosophical insight,which is of great value to the development of Chinese translation studies.Meanwhile,the discussion of translatability for the literary works are treated with deliberation.
