摘  要:本文分析了行业英语教学对于学生学习的影响,重点开展了利用行业英语教学环节激发高职学生学习兴趣、提高学生专业能力的教学应用。实践表明,充分利用行业英语的教学环节,加快培养高职学生具备利用行业英语查阅专业科技文献和情报的能力,既可以有效改善学生的英语阅读写作水平,也可以开阔高职学生专业学习的视野,促进高职学生英语和专业技能的全面发展。This paper analyzes the impact of ESP(English for Specific Purposes)teaching on students'learning,focusing on the use of ESP teaching links to stimulate higher vocational students'learning interest and improve their professional ability.Practice has shown that making full use of ESP teaching links and accelerating the training of higher vocational students'ability to use ESP to read professional literature and information of science and technology can not only effectively improve higher vocational students'English reading and writing skills,but also broaden their professional learning horizons,thus promoting the comprehensive development of their English and professional skills.
