Objective To study the online " golden course" construction model, offline " golden course" construction model, combined online and offline " golden course" construction mode of medical informatics. Methods The three " golden course" construction models of medical informatics and the rsources of different excellent courses were comparatively analyzed. Results The characteristics of different " golden courses" varied greatly from each other. Experencing study evevironment should be created for offline classes and the construction of different " golden course" classes needed to be further studied. Conclusion The need of " golden course" construction, the characteristics and advantages of different " golden courses" should be taken into full consideration and the high level " golden courses" with high stepwiseness, innovativeness and challengingness should be constructed in cooperation for the development of medical informatics education when different " golden course" construction models are sudied because the medical informatics course system ivolves the theories and technologies of multiple subjects and different " golden courses" vary greatly.
