科技英语翻译中变译理论的实效性研究

摘　　要：科技英语翻译对及时、准确地获取和传播科技信息、推动社会发展发挥着重要的作用。科技英语翻译具有专业性、逻辑性、客观性要求高的特点,存在翻译选词、造句难和避免歧义的困难,依据变译理论采用增加、删减、编辑、叙述、缩短、并联、修改等方法能够达成保持原义不变与简明易懂之间的平衡,提高翻译的准确性和高效性。English translation for science and technology plays an important role in timely and accurate acquiring and dissemination of scientific and technological information and promoting social development.With the characteristics of specialization,logical and objectivity,it has some difficulties in choosing words in translation,making sentences and avoiding ambiguity.According to the theory of translation variation,adopting the method of variant translation,such as,adding,subtracting,editing,narrating,shortening,paralleling,modifying,etc will be able to strike a balance between maintaining the original meaning and being concise and understandable so as to improve the accuracy and efficiency of translation.
