摘　　要：作为课堂教学的延续和补充,大学英语第二课堂是教学体系中不可或缺的一个环节,其组织形式丰富、开展时间灵活,较能解决各高校大学英语课程压缩严重和学生学习倦态的问题。基于云南大学滇池学院大学英语第二课堂活动开展情况,从建构主义和输入及输出假说理论的角度,分析大学英语第二课堂活动构建的意义和可行性,并对其存在的问题及改善方面提出几点思考。As a useful complement to traditional classroom teaching,the second class of college English constitutes an indispensable partin the teaching system.Due to its flexibility and diversity in the forms,the second class of college English teaching plays a positive role indealing with problems in college English education,such as thereduction of teaching hours and learning burnout.Taking the con-struction of the second class in the author’s college as an example,this study aims to analyze its current problems and possible ways of improvement,based on the theory of Constructivism and the input/out hypothesis.
