摘 要:思辨能力培养已成为全国英语专业本科教学改革的重点。批判性阅读教学是培养学生思辨能力的重要手段之一。本文讨论如何采用互动式和启发式的教学模式,将图尔敏论证模型运用到批判性阅读教学的课前预习、课堂讨论、课后拓展和反思以及课程考核环节中。通过教学案例分析表明:在批判性阅读教学中运用实践性较强的图尔敏论证模型,可以显性地开展较高层次的阅读活动,有意识地培养学生的批判性思维,提高他们的思辨能力。The cultivation of critical thinking ability has become a focus of undergraduate teaching reform of English majors in China.Critical reading teaching is one of the important approaches to cultivate students'critical thinking ability.This paper discusses how to incorporate Toulmin s model of argument via interactive and heuristic learning mode in different phases of critical reading teaching,including pre-class section,classroom discussion,extracurricular development and reflection as well as curriculum assessment.Through the analysis of a particular teaching case,it is shown that Toulmin s model of argument,a practical tool in critical reading teaching,can help teachers carry out high-level reading activities more explicitly and thus cultivate and improve students critical thinking ability.
