基于语料库的《青铜葵花》“水”的意象英译研究

摘　　要：曹文轩是中国儿童文学“走出去”的代表人物,其作品以“水域文学”著称。因此,能否准确传达“水”的意象成为衡量其译作质量的重要评判标准。以曹文轩的代表作《青铜葵花》和Helen Wang的英译本为语料,通过检索中英文本中“水/water”的频数、搭配高频词、搭配强度及译本可读性指数可发现:一方面,由于汉英语言体系的差异和简化文本的需要,译文与原文虽稍有出入,但“水”的意象在译作中基本得以完整保留和成功再现;另一方面,大量省略策略的使用一定程度上影响了原文语言的文学性和艺术性。As a representative writer of Chinese children′s literature"going out",Cao Wenxuan is famous for his"water literature",so whether the image of"water"is accurately translated is an important standard of the quality of his translated works.Based on Bronze and Sunflower and Helen Wang′s translation,retrieving the frequency,collocates,MI and Reading Ease score of"水/water",it’s found that the image of"water"is,by and large,translated successfully,though the translation is slightly different from the original due to the different Chinese and English language systems or the text simplification.The adoption of omission strategy,however,degrades the literariness and artistry of the original language to some degree.
