摘  要:随着社会的进步,以及教学方法的不断改进,现如今在高中英语教学中,翻译应用的范围越来越小,甚至几乎不再提及,不再受到师生的重视,然而,同大学阶段一样,翻译在高中阶段也很重要,应加强翻译在高中英语教学中的适度运用,使其与现代英语教学法有机结合,让它们各自发挥其优势,以使高中英语教学取得更好的效果。因此在高中英语教学中采用什么样的教学方法来提高学生的英语翻译能力显得十分重要,笔者主要探析了功能翻译理论在高中英语翻译教学中的应用。With the development of society and the continuous improvement of teaching methods,nowadays in English teaching of the senior high school,the scope of translation applications is getting smaller and smaller,even not mentioned,and no longer draw attention of teachers and students,however,translation is as important in the high school as at the university.In order to achieve better results in senior high school English teaching,it is necessary to strengthen the appropriate use of translation in high school English teaching and the combination of modern English teaching methods to enable them to play their advantages.So what kind of teaching methods should be used to improve students'English translation ability in high school English teaching?This paper mainly analyzes the application of functional translation theory in high school English translation teaching.
