摘　　要：概念隐喻具有诗歌、修辞、语言学、认知等功能,会对学生英语词汇学习产生积极影响,是大学英语任课教师关注重要理论之一。通过对概念隐喻理论的介绍,对其在英语词汇教学中的应用价值展开分析,进而对其在大学英语词汇教学中的具体运用展开深层次探究,旨在明确概念隐喻理论基本内容,掌握该理论在英语词汇教学中的实际应用方法。Conceptual metaphor has the functions of poetry,rhetoric,linguistics,cognition and so on,which will have a positive impact on students'English vocabulary learning.It is one of the important theories that college English teachers pay attention to.This paper introduces the theory of conceptual metaphor,analyzes its application value in English vocabulary teaching,and then explores its application in College English vocabulary teaching,aiming at clarifying the basic content of the theory of conceptual metaphor and mastering its practical application methods in English vocabulary teaching.
