行业英语对高职学生专业能力提升的教学实践研究——以机电专业为例

摘　　要：分析行业英语教学环节在高职英语教学中的作用和专业课程学习对于行业英语的需求,提出融合英语教学、专业课教学需求、统筹协调考核方式和动态调整教学计划及教学方式的行业英语教学优化流程。根据对某高职院校机电专业行业英语教学实践结果的统计分析,表明所提出行业英语教学流程合理可行。积极利用行业英语教学,不仅可以提高学生查阅专业英语文献的能力,还可以开阔学生的视野,激发学生的专业兴趣,是高职院校提高学生专业能力的重要途径。This paper analyzes the role of professional English Teaching in vocational English teaching and the needs of students'professional courses for professional English.It puts forward the optimization process of professional English teaching,which integrates the needs of English teaching,professional courses teaching,overall coordination of assessment methods and dynamic adjustment of teaching plans and teaching methods.According to the practice of professional English teaching of mechanical and electrical specialty in a vocational college,the statistical analysis of the results shows that the teaching process of professional English is reasonable and feasible.Active use of professional English teaching can not only improve students'ability to consult professional English literature,but also broaden their horizons and stimulate their professional interests,which is an important way to improve students'professional ability in vocational colleges.
