摘 要:时至今日,生态文明的建设不仅刻不容缓,而且已成为大势所趋。特别最近十余年来,人们对“生态文明”的理论研究与实践也随之深入并日益接地气。然而,这一进展对生态文明建设虽然必不可少,但却远远不够,因为目前认为生态文明“是一项艰难、巨大而系统的工程”(王治河2007)、是对现有工业文明的根本性变革的人仍是少数,特别是意识到生态文明是一场观念的彻底变革、是一种文明范式变革的人更是少之又少。这种不足,正在成为建设生态文明的巨大障碍。对此,约翰·柯布曾一针见血地指出:“现在许多谈论转向生态文明的人仍然坚守着现代性的特质,正是这一点阻止他们在生态文明的道路上走得更远。……事实上,生态文明呼唤深刻的变化和巨大的牺牲”(Cobb 2015)。The article argues that there are few people aware that the transition from the present industrial civilisation to the ecological one is a fundamental transformation,and even fewer ones aware that it is a thorough change,a paradigm shift between civilisations.The shortage is becoming a huge obstacle to the construction of the ecological civilisation.In academia,as the article first describes,it is widely believed that an ecological catastrophe has been taking place and irreversible,and the differences between postmodern ecological and modern industrial civilisations are listed.Then the author argues that modern substantive philosophy is the deep roots of the ecological crisis,and Whitehead’s organic philosophy offers a vision of“ecological civilisation.”Because the philosophy is sharply different from the one on which modern industrial civilisation has been based,the vision of the civilisation based on the philosophy would be really different.It shows clearly that the ecological civilisation is a negation to and transcendence over the modern industrial one.
