消弭中华文化海外传播中思维方式冲突之途径  

An Approach to Allay the Conflicts Caused by the Differences between Chinese and Western Mindsets in Cross-cultural Dissemination of Chinese Culture

摘　　要：随着中华文化海外传播及汉语国际教育的不断推进,由中西思维方式差异导致的误解、冲突也愈来愈突出,要消弭误解或冲突,关键在于理解差异。而在语言交流尚存障碍时,让具有相异甚至相反思维方式的传播者与西方文化圈受众相互理解存在很大困难,需要找到一条途径、一种方式,既能用简洁的汉语或英语表达,又能让西方文化背景的人容易理解这种差异。为解决文化传播中的这个难题,可尝试用三组原则及一对词汇来概括中西思维方式的差异,并在此基础上进行相互比照式的阐释,以此消减文化传播中因中西思维方式差异导致的误会及冲突。In the cross-cultural dissemination of Chinese culture and teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages,the misunderstanding and conflicts caused by the differences between Chinese and Western mindsets are more and more severe.Unfortunately,this issue has not been noted highly,nor did we find a suitable approach to allay the conflicts.The key to reduce the conflicts is to understand the differences.However,when there are still obstacles in language communication,it is difficult to understand the different or even opposite mindset.It is necessary to find an approach which can be both expressed in easy and explicit language(Chinese or English),and can be understood by people of Western cultural background.This essay proposes three pairs of principles and one pair of phrases to summarize the differences between Chinse and Western mindsets,and then compare,contrast and expound these differences,by which to reduce,or even eliminate the conflicts caused by the differences between Chinese and Western mindsets in cross-cultural dissemination of Chinese culture.
