摘  要:全面提高西部教育质量,对于平衡区域发展,助力脱贫具有重要意义。以汉中市为例,从学校、教师和学生三方面研究了西部贫困山区市中学地理教学现状,得出:汉中市地理教育师资力量薄弱,专业素质偏低;学生对地理学科知识不够了解,缺乏学习地理的热情;中学对地理教育教学不够重视,地理教师获得自身发展的机会少等。针对出现的这些问题提出了相应的对策建议。Comprehensively improving the quality of education in the western region is of great significance for balancing regional development and helping poverty alleviation. Taking Hanzhong City as an example, this paper studies the present situation of geography teaching in middle schools in impoverished mountainous cities in western China from three aspects: schools, teachers and students. Some problems have been discovered that the teachers of geography education in Hanzhong City are weak and the professional quality is low, students do not have enough knowledge of geography and lack the enthusiasm for learning geography, middle schools pay little attention to geography education and teaching, and geography teachers have few opportunities for their own development. In response to these problems, corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are proposed.
