摘 要:高水平的师资队伍是美国大学在国际高等教育体系中具有强大竞争力和影响力的一项决定性因素,教师评聘制度是形成和打造一流师资队伍的有效工具。美国大学作为一种遵循市场逻辑的学术组织,教师评聘制度的变化和调整受到大学与市场的关系、人才培养需求、知识生产模式转化以及办学经费状况等因素的影响与制约。通过对美国有代表性的部分大学相关制度的研究,分析其现行教师评聘制度的成因,概括作为阶段性制度演变结果的特征和影响,以期为我国高校完善教师评聘制度、实现高校人力资源管理效能的最优化,提供学习和借鉴。High-caliber faculty is essential for American top universities to be influential and competitive in the international higher education system. The appointment and promotion institution is indispensable for building first-class faculty. As an academic organization that follows the market-driven principle, the faculty appointment and promotion institution in American universities are not static. Its changes and adjustments are affected by factors such as the relationship between the university and the market, talent training needs, the transformation of knowledge production models, and the status of funding. Based on a detailed study of the relevant institutions of some representative American universities, this research attempts to analyze the causes of the current faculty appointment and promotion institution, and summarize the characteristics and influences as the result of the phased reform, so as to improve the faculty appointment and promotion institution and optimize the efficiency of human resource management in Chinese universities.
