摘 要:本研究叙述了三位来自中国、美国、加拿大的高校教师通过自我研究(self-study)和记录在线网络日志的方法,探讨探究式教学实践的挑战与方法,提升自我教学质量和学术素养的生动故事。三位高校教师都关注如何培养学生进行团体探究型学习这一议题,为了解决在教学过程中的迷思和挑战,共同体成员进行了为期半年的在线日志反思。质性数据分析发现,能否成功实践探究型教学与中美加各国的文化教育情境密切相关。三国教师存在的普遍挑战是如何真正将教育理论转化于课堂教学之中,如何挑战并改变传统的教育观念。我们跨国共同体的经验能够指导中国教师的探究型教育实践,为想要增强国际交流合作、探寻教师共同体发展新途径的教育工作者提供有意义的借鉴模式。This study describes the challenges and methods of individual inquiry-based teaching practice by three Chinese,American and Canadian university teachers from different cultures and nationalities through self-study and the method of recording online reflective journaling.All three university educators were interested in cultivating inquiry stance,skills and dispositions in their students.Through the analysis of the multicultural and international online reflective diary supported by Google Docs technology,the qualitative data analysis shows that the successful practice of inquiry-based teaching and learning is closely related to the cultural and educational context in three countries.The common challenge for teachers in the three countries is to transform educational theory into real classroom practice.The community realizes that inquiry-based teaching is resisted by traditional educational concepts.This study summarizes the necessary conditions for a successful implementation of inquiry-based teaching,and also points out that the philosophy for children Hawaii approach,self-study practice and the methodology of recording and sharing online diaries can actively promote the construction and development of the international teacher and researcher community.The experience and research of our transnational research collective can guide the practice of inquiry-based education for the Chinese teachers,and provide meaningful reference for educators who are looking for a new way to strengthen international teaching and researching exchange.
