摘 要:本研究采用写作实验、有声思维法以及回溯性个别访谈收集研究数据,探讨学习者在英语写作过程中采用的回避策略及回避原因。结果显示,学习者采用四种回避策略:词汇回避、句法回避、内容回避、修辞回避。此外,本研究还发现学习者采用回避策略出于两个原因:避免错误,确保准确;避免失礼,追求得体。A writing experiment,think-aloud protocols and retrospective individual interviews are employed to collect the data for this study,which aims to explore the avoidance strategies that learners adopt in EFL writing and the reasons why learners adopt the avoidance strategies.The results of this study show that learners adopt four types of avoidance strategies which include avoidance of lexical items,avoidance of syntactic devices,avoidance of content and avoidance of rhetorical devices.Besides,it reveals the reason why learners adopt the avoidance strategies is that learners are eager to avoid making mistakes and ensure accuracy or to avoid being impolite and pursue language appropriateness.
