译者行为批评视角下《狂人日记》隐含义的翻译策略对比研究

摘　　要：本文基于译者行为批评理论视角,分析对比了杨宪益、戴乃迭夫妇以及蓝诗玲的《狂人日记》译本中对隐含义词句的翻译策略。研究发现,历史背景及个人经历、翻译观以及读者市场的差异导致了两个译本中对隐含义的不同翻译策略。杨译本更倾向于“求真”,译者“语言人”的身份占上风;蓝诗玲更倾向于“务实”,译者“社会人”的身份占上风。此外,杨译本适合以研究为目的的读者阅读,准确传达了隐性信息;蓝诗玲译本虽有误译,但其译本简洁通顺,更适合普通读者进行阅读,其对隐含义的传达更有利于西方读者的接受。Based on the Translation Behavior Criticism,the article analyzes and contrasts the translation strategies of implied meaning between Yang Xianyi's and Julia Lovell's works of A Madman's Diary.It found that the differences in historical background,personal experiences,translation views and market demands lead to the different translation strategies translators apply.Yang Xianyi focuses more on“truth seeking”,which indicates that translator pays more attention to language.Julia Lovell is more inclined to“utility attaining”,which means the translator should attach importance to the societal needs.Moreover,Yang's translation is more suitable the readers for research purposes and it conveys the implied meaning accurately.Lovell's translation,though contains some mistakes,helps the ordinary readers comprehend text easily and the implied meaning her works conveys is more acceptable to those western readers.
