寒山诗英译在美国的经典化过程剖析

摘　　要：梳理寒山诗自1933年进入美国后的译介及经典化过程,分析文学交流框架下寒山诗英译在美国广泛流传、成为文学“他国化”典型个案的主要因素。寒山诗歌蕴含的宗教哲思及其跨越语际得以部分保存的原语言特质,是其受到美国读者欢迎的“文内因素”,20世纪中期美国社会文化需求与赞助人的推动,是促成翻译文本经典化的“文外因素”。In the past some 90 years,Hanshan poems have been translated into English and have been well accepted among both the literary elites and the ordinary readers in the United States in particular.Based on a chronological description of Hanshan poems translation,the present paper analyses the factors that matter in the whole process of literary communication,ie,the translation,reception and canonization.The rich contents and the profound thought embedded in Han-shan poems as well as the unique poetic style all have made Han-shan poetry a splendid literary phenomenon in the US.And,the social-contextual situation together with the approval of literary patrons enhanced the canonization.
