摘  要:语言转向是20世纪哲学和文学研究的重要特征。作为当代美国最具影响力的思想家之一,理查德·罗蒂构建了反本质主义、反表象主义、反基础主义的哲学文学思想。罗蒂以语言为切入点对哲学与文学展开双向研究,提出语言是具有相对偶然性的历史产物,语言的意义源于人类实践、服务于人类实践。基于对语言的来源、语言的本体论意义和语言实践等问题的探究,罗蒂认为后现代语境下的哲学研究和文学研究不必纠结于语言是否是对世界的表现或再现,寻求一劳永逸的大写实在和真理也是徒劳的。沿袭实用主义重视行为和实践后果的立场,罗蒂进一步指出文学语言极富想象力和隐喻,教化与启迪是文学语言的归旨。The linguistic turn is an important feature of the research on philosophy and literature in the 20th century.As one of the most influential thinkers in contemporary America,Richard Rorty constructs his philosophical and literary thoughts of antiessentialism,anti-imagism and anti-foundationalism.Rorty makes a two-way study on philosophy and literature with language as the breakthrough point,proposing that language is the product of a relatively accidental history,and its meaning originates from and serves human practice.Based on the exploration of the origin of language,the ontological significance of language,and language practice,Rorty believes that the philosophical and literary studies in the postmodern context need not to be entangled with whether language is the expression or representation of the world,and it is futile to seek the capitalized reality and truth once and for all.Following the pragmatic standpoint of valuing actions and practical consequences,Rorty further points out that literary language is full of imagination and metaphor,and bildung and edification are the aims of literary language.
